Up for sale I have an NES Frontloader with the following work done:
– Transplanted to RetroGameRestore Smoke Transparent Shell
– NESRGB 4.3 kit. This has been wired up to allow In-Game reset using controller as well as changing color palettes with controller commands.
– LaserBear SNES AV Multi-Out w/ Voultar QSB. This adds a SNES style AV port out on the rear of the console and uses a flex ribbon to carry the video and audio signals making for a cleaner install and cleaner output vs wiring method
– Full Recap: All capacitors on the mainboard and PSU/RF Modulator have been replaced with quality caps from Console5
– Voltage regulator replaced with modern 7805 from Console5
– Expansion audio restored. This has been wired up from the NESRGB board to the expansion slot so that Famicom games (w/ adapter) and EverDrives can benefit from expansion audio
– Original 72-pin connector is intact but has been fully serviced and restored by me. Edge Connector and 72-pin connector itself deep cleaned, and all pins checked for correct tension. Edge connector has been given a light coat of DeOxit.
– Main PCB, PSU/RF Modulator and all related parts have been cleaned thoroughly, including controller ports and wiring harnesses. There is some discoloration on the top RF Modulator shield which is normal given the age.
– Controller has been washed, retrobrighted and all membranes and components thoroughly cleaned and controller has been fully tested and verified working
Comes with:
– NES-001 Frontloader Internals in RGR Smoke Transparent Shell
– OEM NES Controller
– Triad PSU (9V 2500MA)
– Quality shielded RGB Scart cable hand-made by EM-Modshop
