This is a customizable order form for the NEC Turbo Duo / R / RX and the various services offered. Please note that all costs listed are for service only, requiring you to ship not only the console but the mod/upgrade parts you have purchased yourself (with exception to the Full Recap Service as I will provide new capacitors from Console5)
Voultar DuoRGB Mod Install
On a stock Duo system you cannot output RGB natively so this kit will add that capability along with other nice features such as C-Sync buffering (to work best with various upscalers) and an optional low-pass filter to clean up video noise further. This will give you the absolute best image quality you can get out of a Duo.

Duo Disabler Install
Zaxour developed and released a really neat kit that allows you to use the reset button on your Turbo Everdrive Pro to disable the onboard ASIC and run CD Games off the TEDPro just like on any non-Duo system. This gets around the conflict between the TEDPro CD emulation and the onboard CDROM, which is useful for preventing wear on your working CDROM or using the TEDPro in lieu of a having a working optical drive in your Duo

Full System Recap
Electrolytic Capacitors have an estimated shelf life of about 15 years and many of these old retro gaming systems are long past that time. Prevent unwanted power, video or audio issues by proactively replacing these in your Duo system. Unlike many other systems where a recap is often preventative or done as the system is at a relatively low risk of leaking caps and subsequent damage, the Duo systems are universally known for having bad caps that will cause severe trace and PCB damage if left unchecked. You should consider a recap essential for owning a Duo if it has not been done already
Optical Drive Maintenance
Over time the optical drive assembly can become dirty such as the laser lens, the gears and rail which can impact reliability. This service will fully deep clean all the gears, rail and lens housing assembly and have fresh grease applied throughout. The Laser lens will also be carefully cleaned
Full Service Cleaning
After years of heavy use many consoles will exhibit accumulation of dirt, dust and debris and this can not only impact the aesthetic appearance of the system but dirty system components can impact component life and performance. Your console will be completely disassembled and cleaned from the inside out. All PCB and internal electrical components will have dust and debris removed via an electronic air compressor and then be cleaned with 99% isopropyl alcohol and brushed clean. Outer shell and other non-electronic components will be taken apart and soaked in a soap/water mixture and carefully scrubbed to remove stains and debris buildup. Any light markings, scuffs or other blemishes will be safely removed to the best of my ability. Once the console is re-assembled the outer shell will be given a coat of plastic UV protectant to restore shine and prevent UV damage
