This is a customizable order form for the Twin Famicom and the various services offered. Please note that all costs listed are for service only, requiring you to ship not only the console but the mod/upgrade parts you have purchased yourself (with exception to the Full Recap Service, FDS Drive Maintenance and Controller Refurb as I will provide the parts from Console5 baked into the cost)
NESRGB Mod Install
The NESRGB mod courtesy of Tim Worthington will give you the best possible analog video signal out of your Twin Famicom console! Utilizing the original PPU, a crisp and clear RGB signal is generated from the NESRGB board and then output via several connection options. By default the kit comes equipped with an 8 pin mini-din for use with your RGB scart cable of choice and outputs audio via a 3.5MM jack, or you can opt for an additional kit from Laser Bear Industries that will give you a SNES/N64 style AV Multi-Out port and enables you to use HDRetrovision or other YPbPr component cables.
NESRGB mod kits can be purchased from the following website:

AV Multi-Out kits can be purchased from the following website:
LaserBear Industries – Front Loader QSB Kit
NOTE: When purchasing the NESRGB kit from ETIM, please be sure to add the “Sharp Famicom TwinAdapter board #2” to the order so this kit can work with the Twin Famicom. I cannot install the kit without it!
Full System Recap
Electrolytic Capacitors have an estimated shelf life of about 15 years and many of these old retro gaming systems are long past that time. Prevent unwanted power, video or audio issues by proactively replacing these in your Twin Famicom system. If yours is already exhibiting issues a failed capacitor could be the culprit and is usually a good first step in the diagnosis and repair. All capacitors will be replaced on the system motherboard, PSU, FDS Drive and the Player 2 Controller with a cap kit from Console5 which I will provide for this service, included in the cost
FDS Drive Maintenance
One of the most common failure points on the Twin Famicom is the FDS disk drive. The biggest culprit is the drive belt wearing down and breaking over time, rendering it inoperable. With this service a brand new drive belt from Console5 will be installed for you, the drive alignment will be checked/corrected and all moving mechanical parts will be cleaned and lubricated (where necessary). This is a complete cleaning and overhaul of the FDS drive to bring it back to smooth operation!
Controller Refurb Service
While I don’t typically offer controller refurbishment, in this case the controllers are hard-wired to the Twin Famicom so I offer an additional service to have those maintained. They will be deep cleaned as part of the below “Full Service Cleaning” but on top of that, this will add carbon trace/pad restoration which can fix button press/response issues as those pads can break down over time and have spotty/unreliable connections. Additionally this service will also swap in new controller membranes for the DPAD, Start/Select and A/B buttons using quality aftermarket membranes from Console5. Finally the sliding toggle switches for Turbo mode (on specific models) and for enabling/disabling the microphone on controller 2 will be deep cleaned to remove corrosion and improve contact.
Full Service Cleaning
After years of heavy use many consoles will exhibit accumulation of dirt, dust and debris and this can not only impact the aesthetic appearance of the system but dirty system components can impact component life and performance. Your console will be completely disassembled and cleaned from the inside out. All PCB and internal electrical components will have dust and debris removed via an electronic air compressor and then be cleaned with 99% isopropyl alcohol and brushed clean. Outer shell and other non-electronic components will be taken apart and soaked in a soap/water mixture and carefully scrubbed to remove stains and debris buildup. Any light markings, scuffs or other blemishes will be safely removed to the best of my ability. Once the console is re-assembled the outer shell will be given a coat of plastic UV protectant to restore shine and prevent UV damage
