Please note that all costs listed are for service only, requiring you to ship not only the console but the mod/upgrade parts you have purchased yourself (with exception to the Full Recap Service as I will provide new capacitors from Console5)
XBOX HD+ HDMI Install
Get the highest quality video direct from the Xbox’s encoder chip with the MakeMHZ HD+ kit. This will remove the stock AV Port and replace with an HDMI port capable of displaying up to 1080i. This mod requires a stellar modchip which is another service I offer below. You can buy the XBOX HD+ kit standalone if you already have a stellar modchip, or as part of a bundle with the Stellar chip:

Modchip Installation
Modchips are an option for running custom BIOS on the XBOX and arguably the most popular choice. The primary benefits of a mod chip is the fact many come with multiple banks for running several different BIOS, built in tools/menus to make EEPROM backups, HDD Upgrades and FTP access easier, etc. Modchips are also historically a “safer” option as if anything happens during BIOS upgrade or replacement on the modchip that bricks it, it can easily be swapped out. If a TSOP flash goes bad your system is essentially bricked short of swapping the TSOP chip over from another working XBOX of the same model. This service is for the install and setup of any modchip, I currently only have the Xenium, Project Stellar & Aladdin XT chips listed but if you reach out I can install anything as long as I have access to documentation for the chip so support can be given and it can be fully tested.

Optical Drive Maintenance
DVD Drive failure on the original XBOX is unfortunately quite common so if yours is still working its advised to perform some preventative maintenance on it to keep it in good working order. This service disassembles the entire DVD Drive and cleans all internals including: all rails, gears, the lens and PCB/drive assembly. A new DVD Drive belt will be provided included in this service cost (which helps with drive doors that struggle to open or wont stay closed), and all new lithium grease will be carefully applied throughout the assembly
Full Recap Service
Electrolytic Capacitors have an estimated shelf life of about 15 years and many of these old retro gaming systems are long past that time. Prevent unwanted power, video or audio issues by proactively replacing these in your XBOX system. These consoles are particularly notorious for failing clock capacitors which almost assuredly will leak (if they haven’t already) and potentially cause irreversible damage to your system board. This service will replace all radial and SMD caps from the main system board, DVD Drive and PSU including the aforementioned clock capacitor. Brand new capacitors from Console5 are included in the cost of this service
Full Service Cleaning
After years of heavy use many consoles will exhibit accumulation of dirt, dust and debris and this can not only impact the aesthetic appearance of the system but dirty system components can impact component life and performance. Your console will be completely disassembled and cleaned from the inside out. All PCB and internal electrical components will have dust and debris removed via an electronic air compressor and then be cleaned with 99% isopropyl alcohol and brushed clean. Outer shell and other non-electronic components will be taken apart and soaked in a soap/water mixture and carefully scrubbed to remove stains and debris buildup. Any light markings, scuffs or other blemishes will be safely removed to the best of my ability. Once the console is re-assembled the outer shell will be given a coat of plastic UV protectant to restore shine and prevent UV damage. Additionally, new thermal paste (Arctic MX4) will be applied to both CPU and GPU along with cleaning of the heatsinks
