This Platinum GameCube is the first of two that came in along with the previously posted Dreamcast for a simple refurbishment. Customer just wanted it cleaned, recapped and new battery installed. Nothing out of the ordinary during testing except it struggled to read discs until warmed up but that’s the

Had this Sega Dreamcast come in for a typical refurbishment along with a Region Free BIOS Install and new socketed battery but upon testing I discovered it was acting quite strange. It booted fine, fan came on and displayed startup swirl and booted to menu, audio sounded fine etc… however

Had a multiple console order come in for a simple refurbishment (recap and cleaning) including this early revision NeoGeo AES, aka the 3-1. Historically these revisions have been sought after more for their superior RGB output though with a bypass mod you can make the later 3-5 and 3-6 look

While it’s the least common variant of the Sega CD I see here in the shop (compared to the Model 1 and CDX) I like working on the Model 2 the most. Overall, it’s very stripped down compared to the other two and while there are a LOT of through

Been seeing a lot of GameCube action lately, mostly straightforward refurbishments but in between 2 Jet Black ‘Cube & GameBoy Player combos came this one for a PixelFX HDMI Install! I love installing these kits especially on GameCube and N64 as they are on the easier side but still a

While I’ve seen a ton of CDX action this year, it’s been a hot minute since a Model 1 (or 2 for that matter) Sega CD arrived in the shop for some work. This one was sent my way because the CDROM tray was not operating properly, stuck and unable

Got sent this 1.0 XBOX from a friend who runs a retro shop selling games and consoles (check them out on Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/retro_gaming_revival_/) to be completely refurbished for use testing XBOX games for sale! No fancy bells and whistles or mods, just needed to ensure the console is running

While 99% of the Virtual Boys that come into this shop are already showing degraded output to one or both lenses, occasionally you still get one that’s fully working and that poor 30+ year old glue is likely hanging on for dear life 😄 This unit was sent in for
